Well, I priced out some of those fancy cyclocomputer/heart rate monitors, and they are too expensive for my purposes. I am thinking about getting a Polar S120, which is still more expensive than I’d like, but it seems to be the cheapest model with the ‘Time in Target Zone‘ feature. I think that would be a nice thing to have because, after a ride, I will have an objective measure of whether I was actually training, or just putzing along looking at the scenery. Almost all of my rides seem to fall into that latter catagory lately. Here is a sample vector graphics chart. This is my pitiful performance for the week.
Hmm.. In this case, the vector actually looks worse than the raster. I’m not sure why.
