The past three days have been “ozone action days” in Harrisburg. This means the air is so polluted, it’s not safe to go outside.

They say I shouldn’t drive, but I shouldn’t go outside.

Does that mean I shouldn’t ride my bike to work?

I grew up in the woods, so I’m not familiar with this kind of thing. It seems to me a little surprising that this is considered normal. Not being able to go outside is an unacceptable state of affairs, as far as I’m concerned.
